French doors are a pair of glazed doors that both open, joining a room to the garden. Every set we sell comes complete with the frame and double glazing, delivered across the UK mainland.
uPVC or aluminium?
uPVC French doors start at £499, need no painting and come in 8 colours, made in about 2 weeks for most colours. Aluminium French doors start at £1,665 and have slimmer frames for more glass, made in about 3 weeks. Read what to check before you order made-to-measure French doors.
Which colour?
White French doors are the most popular choice. uPVC also comes in Anthracite Grey, Black, Agate Grey, Chartwell Green, Irish Oak, Golden Oak and Rosewood, on the outside only or on both sides. See the colour guide.
Do I need side panels?
If the opening is wider than about 1.8m, add fixed glass side panels rather than making the doors wider. See French doors with side panels.

Which door opens first?
One door is the master and opens first; the other is held by bolts. Decide which side you use most and whether they open in or out. See French door opening direction.
How do I measure?
Measure the opening brick to brick in at least three places, use the smallest size and take 10mm off for fitting. Never measure the old frame. Our measuring guide covers every step.
How does delivery work?
We deliver to the UK mainland every week on our own racked vehicles, for £90 per order. You get your delivery date when you order and a 2-hour time slot on the day. See delivery.
