A black exterior does not have to mean a black frame inside your room. On Swift Aluminium’s made-to-measure black uPVC sliding patio door, the colour selector offers a white interior or a black interior. Choosing between them is a separate decision from selecting the outside finish.

Start with the view from inside the room
Look at the window frames, skirting boards, internal doors and other finishes already in the room. A white interior is worth considering if you want the patio-door frame to sit alongside existing white windows. A black interior may suit a room where you want the frame to form a visible outline around the view.
Neither choice is automatically better. Consider the room as it is now and any decoration you already plan to change. If you are replacing several windows or doors, record the intended interior colour for each item rather than assuming that one exterior colour means every interior will match.
Read both halves of the colour option
The black two-pane uPVC product currently offers these two choices:
- Black External White Internal (Black on White): a black outside face and a white inside face.
- Black External Black Internal: black on both the outside and inside faces.
Check the wording on the exact product you are ordering. Other materials, finishes and door layouts can have different options. A photograph may show only one face, and a dark frame in a photograph is not enough to confirm the colour name, surface texture or interior finish. Ask Swift to clarify anything the selector or product information does not make clear.
Choose the handle colour separately
The same product has a separate handle-colour selector, including chrome, black, white, satin silver, gold and grey. Review this alongside the frame colour, rather than leaving a default selected by accident. If matching existing handles matters, confirm the finish you need before ordering; colour names alone may not describe an exact match to fittings you already own.
Keep the colour choice separate from the opening direction
A colour decision does not determine which panel moves. Swift’s sliding master-door selector is labelled as viewed from outside. Stand outside facing the opening when discussing left and right with your installer, then check the option selected on the product page. Make a note of the interior colour and opening side as two separate order details.
A short check before you add the door to your basket
- Confirm the exact product and exterior colour.
- Read the selected interior colour back against your room plan.
- Check the handle colour and the opening direction from the stated viewpoint.
- Have your installer confirm the dimensions, cill and other project requirements.
- Review the final configuration and displayed price together.
